The March meeting was held on the 10th at Jay Taylor’s home. A number of new members were in attendance, and the meeting in general was well attended.

Principle topics of discussion were officer’s elections. All current officers agreed to accept their respective offices again, and were elected unanimously.

We also discussed field maintenance, in particular the issue of runway repair. Charles Cantrell agreed to check with geotextile fabric suppliers to get current prices and see what shipping might cost. Jim David volunteered to help with transport, if shipping would be too expensive.

We also discussed the time for setting the Porta-Potty, and agreed that early April still made sense. We also discussed getting the new watt meter on the power panel installed, as well as getting the anemometer calibrated. it currently does not give a correct reading.

Other topics of discussion included Hobby Town, and the need to support the local hobby shops (LHS). We also talked about building methods, particularly foam core and foam cutting.
